Camping

  • Are fires or BBQ's allowed

    Yes - please use the concrete blocks provided to raise your fire or BBQ and ensure that it is contained at all times. All fires must be extinguised by 10:00PM.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    No refunds within 2 weeks of arrival date.


    28 days - 15 days before arrival: a 1 night + £10 campsite admin fee will be retained.


    No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.


    Any deposits are transferrable, providing at least 48 hours notice is given. Any cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice of the arrival date will not be entitled to any refunds or transfers.

  • Do you allow visitors?

    Yes - day visitors are allowed at a fee of £3.00 per adult and £2.00 per car, with no charge for kids and pets. All visitors must park in the nearest carpark and sign in to reception. Once signed in, the visitors must park in one of our car parks and not on the pitch.

  • Do you have an on-site shop?

    We do not have a shop, however our on-site Clubhouse provides a wide selection of seasonal food, snacks and hot and cold drinks. The nearest store is a short drive away so any essentials you may have forgotten will not be far.

  • What is your policy on noise?

    Noise is asked to be kept at a minimum between 11:00PM and 8:00AM. Duty wardens are on-site 24/7 and patrol the park to ensure everyone's happiness and safety.

  • Do you allow group bookings?

    Yes - group bookings, same-gender bookings and under-16's. In larger groups, we do ask for a waiver deposit to ensure that the park's rules are followed by everyone on-site.

  • Do you accept rallies?

    Rallies are more than welcome at Riverside Park and may also receive a discounted price, depending on the size of the group and time of year.

  • Are you open all year round?

    Riverside Park welcomes campers and tourers from 1st March to the 31st October. 

Holiday Homes

  • Do you allow sub-lets?

    We have a strict no sub-letting policy and your contract with us will be terminated if this rule is broken. Family members are welcome to use the caravan providing that they abide by our site rules.

  • Are pets allowed?

    We do allow pets, providing they are kept on a leash whilst walking around the park. We have designated dog areas where they are free to run about.

  • Can I stay in the caravan all year-round?

    The park is open between the 1st of March and the and the 31st of December, during which time you can use the holiday home and our facilities as often as you wish.

  • Is there an age limit for the caravans?

    No - providing the caravans are kept tidy and in a good condition, there is no age limit.

  • Do you have a public mooring for fishing/boating?

    Yes- you can fish/boat off our public mooring.

  • Are the caravans safe near the river?

    All our river front caravans are fitted with a highly sucsessful floatation device, should the river burst its banks your caravan will float above water. 

    Once the river has returned to normal levels the caravan will return to its normal position.

  • How much is the annual ground rent?

    The park is open between the 1st of March and the and the 31st of December, during which time you can use the holiday home and our facilities as often as you wish.

  • Is the clubhouse free to use for holiday home owners

    Yes- The Holiday Home Owners have full access to the onsite amenities at no extra cost, including the Clubhouse.
